Our client is a top notch technologically inclined fleet management company. They now have a vacancy for a Fleet Manager 

Role Focus

The ideal candidate must be highly refined in people skills, an extensive understanding of what is required to run a high-pace retail or hospitality-style operation. Significant experience and skills in operations, logistics using software programs to monitor both fleets and drivers.You will work closely with the team to make continuous process improvements to enhance the end-to-end experience for Partners & Drivers. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Source for new Partners and Drivers. 
  • Properly monitor and track Vehicles using GPS trackers under the fleet.
  • Most rely on software to record and collect data. 
  • Ensure that all Partners & drivers understand the contractual agreement they have signed with the company.
  • Collaborate with the team to add quality employee drivers to the fleet.
  • Register and license all vehicles and keep inspections up to date. 
  • keep records to prove that the drivers are complacent with companies rules and regulations. 
  • Making sure vehicles are maintained in peak operating conditions, set up schedules to ensure each vehicle is kept in top condition. 
  • Ensure strict schedules making sure that the optimum amount of vehicles are working at all times.
  • Look for patterns to see areas where they can cut expenses and reduce administrative costs. 
Key Requirements

  • At least 3 years proven experience as Business/Operations Manager or relevant role.
  • Bachelors degree in any Management related field.
  • Goal-oriented and organized leadership
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
  • Able to make professional decisions in a fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated and self-directed
  • Good interpersonal skills with all levels of management
